WORTHY and ABUNDANT: Creating an Abundant life inside and out

What's that Whisper with Heather Dimick

LINDA BRAND COACH Season 4 Episode 10

Send us a text

In this inspiring episode, I sit down with Heather Dimick, the creator of What’s That Whisper, a brand and podcast dedicated to tuning into the quiet nudges of our soul. Heather shares her powerful story of growing up around substance abuse, moving out at 17, and learning early on that we are not defined by our surroundings. She chose to take charge of her life and follow the whispers within—those subtle, guiding messages that lead us toward our fullest potential.

Heather opens up about her journey as a mom of three boys, balancing a full-time job, family, and passion projects. She also talks about how decluttering our minds and homes creates space for those whispers to come through, and how her product line of affirmation tees, mugs, and journals serves as simple reminders to keep listening.

This conversation is all about courage, clarity, and creating room for the life that’s waiting for you. If you’ve ever ignored that little nudge inside or felt the pull toward something more, this episode will remind you to trust it and take the next step.

Linda's mission is...

Welcome back to Worthy and Abundant, the podcast. I'm so grateful you're here. I never take it for granted that you're here listening. It means the world to me. I love bringing you amazing guests. And today I have an amazing friend. She has a powerful podcast

it's called, what's that Whisper her name is Heather. She's the creator of, what's that whisper? It's a reminder to tune into the whispers within the quiet nudges we often turn down or ignore. Yet they're the very ones that can guide us toward our fullest potential. Through her podcast, she shares her own journey of listening to those whispers and the growth that comes from following them.

She's also created a product line of. Simple reminders, affirmation, t-shirts, mugs, journals, and more. Each one designed to encourage you to go after what's calling you. Heather believes our minds and our homes often get cluttered, and when we clear that space, we open the door for whispers to come through.

What's that? Whisper is here to inspire you, to hear them, trust them, and take the next step toward the life that's waiting for you. Uh, there's also a mom of three. And, , she absolutely loves decluttering and organizing and she has a full-time job and she enjoys watching all her boys play sports, and we are gonna get into this conversation and have a lot of fun.

She also moved out of her home at age 17 and finished school in another state, so we'll dive into that a little bit. And she got a job and took total control of her life at a very young age, knowing that. She was not her surroundings and there is a way out and you should be brave to take that chance.

So I'm super excited to hear Heather, your story. Welcome to the show. Thank you for being here. It means so much to me that you're here and sharing your journey with us. It's very inspiring. I wanna hear, where. This all began for you with the whispers? Like what's, oh my gosh. Yeah. Well first I just wanna say thanks for sharing that out loud because it feels so special and sweet that to hear it from someone else besides my own thoughts.

Yeah. 'cause I really am here to help others listen to their whispers. And I think that I have my own to share and I think I have my own to work on and grow and hear. So I think that's why I'm here and that's why I created product. 'cause I think they're just simple reminders. To where something's like, yes, I have, you know, I need to like listen to my thoughts today or I need to step outta my comfort zone.

So thanks for sharing, reflecting that back to me. That was very nice. Of course. Yeah. Thank you for all that you're doing. Your podcast is just amazing. I was a guest and I'm so grateful for that. Um, tell us, when did you start having whispers and when did you start listening? Was it back when you were 17 and you left?

No, I was like, maybe I should look at my journals and see what happened the other day. And I was like, I don't know, maybe I was just complaining too much. Then I don't remember, but like I started and then I just realized, I think because I had so much love in my family still, even though there was substance abuse in my family and maybe and a little and a lot of chaos that goes with that, still went to school and I went to many different schools.

I had my grandparents that were in my life that took care of me. I knew my mother loved me. My father loved me. It wasn't that I wasn't, I didn't feel loved. It was just that they decided to do other things versus, you know, building a family unit stronger. Right? So I think I just knew, I think, and then you start hanging out with people that start getting into substances or other things you don't wanna go into.

I think those are kind of whispers I started listening to earlier. And because I don't wanna go down those paths, I've seen those paths. I know where those paths go. And there's a lot of struggle when you decide to do any kind of substance abuse. Right. Well, you knew at a young age, so did you, you, did you get in the wrong crowd?

I did. I got in with the wrong crowd. I mean, sure. No, I didn't really get into, I didn't get into any hard things, and I'm sure maybe I've dabbled in a few things, but. Not, that's never really been who I am. Okay. If you know, I had a boyfriend at one time that decided to start doing, you know, some drugs and I was like, no, I'm not.

This isn't for me. This isn't working. Oh God. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because watching that around growing up, you just need to get outta that. There's better things for us. Right. And it, you can see there's a lot of dark nights on drugs, right? Yeah. So you left home at 17. That's very brave. Yeah, it was the right time.

'cause I got kicked outta school one more time, so I wanted to finish graduating, so I moved outta state. Where did you go? Uh, from Alaska to some close to Washington. Close to Seattle, Washington. Oh, wow. Were you in Alaska when you were raised up as a kid? Yeah, from like one to 17. Wow, that's interesting. I never knew that about you.

So what, tell us, I'm jumping around here, but tell us what inspired you to create the podcast? Um, probably the community I'm in with ladies such as yourself and just being around other women who are like, oh, well I might as well try that. And I'm like, what am I got to lose if nobody listens?

If five people listen, if thousands of people listen, and I think that I grow just from doing it as well. So I think that's really the best part about it. Oh yeah. I love this podcast. It's, you meet the most amazing souls. You learn so much, right? Um, and you're serving, right? And so tell us, when you created the podcast, what's that whisper?

What was the. Vision for it. Well, honestly, I started my product line first. So what's that whispers about? Listening to your inner whispers and finding , like I have my shirt that says, select your thoughts today. Hmm. So it, you know, just simple reminders that we can wear. Like, oh, that's how I wanna thank today, or that's how I wanna be today.

So. That way. They're just simple little reminders or I make mugs or sweatshirts that remind us. So it kind of just trickled off of that. And I'm not quite sure where the name came from, but it must have been a whisper. It's so cute. Yeah. I love the name because I have my own intuition, um, intuitive nudges and all of that.

So you talk about, , decluttering the mind and the home. Tell us, what somebody that perhaps is in the middle of clutter and just wants to, where does she begin? Like when she wants to start listening to the whispers and she's not hearing them, like where do, where would she begin? Well do, do we wanna start with like physically or mentally?

Either one. You, you do. Yeah. I think, um, sometimes for me, I don't like my house to be very chaotic looking and feeling like I like to declutter. This does not mean I don't have a lot of things. I got tons of things to get rid of. But as an example, the other day I was like, well, I use the kitchen every day.

I'm gonna go through the drawers and a few things. And that's gonna clear space for my mind. Next, I need to do my closet, because my closet, I get dressed every day for work. I'm just like, I just don't even know, like things are falling off the shelf right now. So I think little things like that where you use something the most, or even just your bathroom, you can declutter just those few drawers and get rid of the few things that you don't need.

And I think with the mind, I really like to journal or take walks. Mm. Yeah. And that just really helps. Or talking to a friend helps. But we gotta remember when we're talking to a friend that we're not making the same complaints over and over again, that we're actually taking action to do things. Yes, yes.

And then tell me, do you ever see or notice right away a difference when you do a decluttering in the physical space? Like do you notice feeling lighter, feeling better maybe creating the space too? A hundred percent. Like I had two computers sitting on my desk forever, and then I just, I put them away in a closet.

Because I wanna, I gotta take all the photos off there, so that's why they're sitting there. But I found five pairs of shoes I didn't even know I had. Wow. Then you just clear it. It just feels like your mind opens more when you declutter things and get rid of stuff. When you declutter the physical, it affects mind.

Right. Yeah, definitely. I love that because I think that we continue to. Buy more or do more and find more activities that are just filling our plate, but we're not actually becoming clear and wanting to go in a certain direction, and then you just get more stuff. Mm-hmm. It's nice to kind of clean that up and organize it.

Yes. Do you have any practices that you. Like you talked about walking in nature and journaling that you do every single day or that you do to create space for the whispers. Do you have a ritual of some kind? Um, I'm gonna say I don't necessarily have a ritual, but I do try to be kind with myself for that because I have the three boys and a job and all that stuff.

But I do try to make minutes. Time in between things to just kind of relax and be like, and be okay. Or maybe when you're cooking dinner you're just relaxing and enjoying the sizzling of the steak or whatever. Hmm. Yeah, I wanted to ask that. Yeah, that was I, I'm sorry, that was my next question was how do you balance the podcast, the boys, the full-time job, all the things, like how do you do it?

I was asking my same, my question that to myself yesterday. Yeah, I think you just do it. I think when we overthink it, like what's on our plate for tomorrow, then I just become overwhelmed. But if I just wait till tomorrow and then like, okay, I can do this, then it doesn't feel so bad. And when my kids are in sports, it's nice because I re, I get friends to visit, I get to sit outside, which is great for my soul, right?

And just, and it forces me to be outside. Because I'll, every day I'm at work, so I just try to find little pockets of time. I sit in my car on my lunch break and eat my lunch, or I, maybe I meditate in there or listen to something that's, you know, inspiring. I love that. So, so you, yeah, we'll see. School just started.

Yeah, you're very, what was the last thing you said? I said we'll see, school just started. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I just, I, can I say something? Yeah. I just want people to hear their own whispers because I do see a lot of people, and this is all ages or even older, that get stuck, that do the same thing every single day, and.

Don't try anything new and forget that they even had things to think about, that they even had desires and whispers. And that happens to a lot of people. I know my mom and you know, and other people as moms, and it's just the same thing. They live every day. Now. I'm like, they have to have a whisper. There has to be something that they've been desiring to do.

And are you gonna just spend the next 10, 20 years in your house? Not finding any of those. Yeah. Was there ever a time that you had a whisper that you didn't listen to and there was a negative result? , I don't know. I'm gonna let, let's come back to that one. Okay. Um. How often are you hearing the whispers and are you feeling this is your higher self, this is your inner guide, this is God, this is the universe.

Like, what do you think it is? Intuition? Um, what is it? It's all, we're all connected. I think we, we have similar beliefs around spirituality, but like, did you know all this, all the years when you were 17, 18, were you also hearing whispers and what did you. I don't know if my intuition was very strong, but I guess maybe I just was stronger than you believe, right.

To go and do all the things and, and I mean, I feel like I've left a lot of hard situations because I made the decision. Because I know I deserve better and I can do better for myself. So, and sometimes that takes a year to leave. Sometimes that takes months, right? I mean, sometimes we're in a job we don't love.

And I've had lots of jobs. I, I mean, well really one job, two jobs I didn't really love and I stayed for a while 'cause I liked who I worked with and, you know, all of that. But you can, and I, you're right, 'cause the one one whisper I think would be leaving one of those jobs when I did merchandising. When I worked at the post office, it was very not customer service based, and that's what I like.

I like talking to customers and it just kept me very, um, insecure. Hmm. Very, I think small. I didn't, um, not outgoing. So I, and that's, and that's why I like being in customer service. 'cause it pushes you outta your comfort zone and to talk, you have to talk to people for your job. Yeah. When you're working at the post office behind scenes and doing mannequins, you're not really talking to anybody.

Yeah, yeah. It's for, yeah. You're just, um, like a robot or something. Right. And you're. You're a people person. Yeah. Well, and a lot of people like that and that, and maybe that inspires in other ways, but I, I'm, I'm creative, but I don't think I'm an artist, you know? Hmm. Yeah. Well you are an artist 'cause you create those mugs and Yeah.

Shirts and things. And, um, so when people purchase your items, like what do you want them to, or when they listen to your podcast, what do you want them to leave with? Um, well, I have, you know, you as a guest, so you're a great coach. I think that everybody I like to have on there is inspiring and, um, telling their stories about how they listen to their own whispers and whether and everything can be going super great in somebody's life, but what's a whisper is pulling us somewhere else.

Mm-hmm. And it's time to really like trust yourself. And to listen to it and take a chance because just because every X, Y, and Z is all super perfect, you have the best job and all that stuff. Doesn't mean you can't leave it. Mm. Because I think we're here to learn and expand and I think that that doesn't leave room for expansion if you're just in that same routine, you're after year and thinking behind the scenes that you wanna do something else.

Yeah. So what do you think is holding most people back? Fear. Uh, maybe fear or the fact that this is how we were taught to be when growing up, not even if it was, you know, pointing fingers at us, but that was safe and secure. Right, right. Parents. Yeah. And we didn't grow up with a lot of money, but so I could be like, no, this is a very stable income.

I don't want my kids to feel that. Or, you know? Yeah, you wanna keep it 'cause it feels comfortable. Right. So, um, tell us about some of your favorite interviews on the show and, um, I mean, you've grown very quickly. How long has the podcast been going? I think January 9th was my first episode, so I've done one a week since then and a couple minis.

Nice. Yeah. Nice. Yeah, so the solar's are good. I wanna get more of those, but I might be switching to, you know, because of life, I think I could be flexible with my podcast, which is super great. So maybe I'll do an interview every other week and then a mini, exactly. Yeah, because that's was part of the overwhelm yesterday.

I was like, I gotta get all this done for all this, and then I wanna do this for the t-shirts. But I think I can make it a little more simple on myself. Yes. I think we just kind of have to realize like there's no, um, nobody we're answering to. Like I used to have a show like Empower. It was Empower. Now it's worthy and abundant.

But, , it was every week and you know, it was like for over, for a long time, for a couple years. And then I'm like, why? I, I would watch others doing like multiple episodes a week and then nothing. And then there's some. Big name people that have not recorded in several months, and I'm like, why do I put so much pressure on myself?

You know, like it's not necessary. There's two. Uh, yeah, totally agree. 'cause there's no way I can do a ton a week. There's, I mean, I have a full plate already. Yeah. Which is fine. Yeah, you're doing great. So what were some of your favorite takeaways from some of your interviews? Um, well, well, to be honest about, I'm just proud that I asked a lot of these guests to be my guest, and it's so fun to talk to everybody.

And I was like, I can't believe I just tossed her. That's so awesome. And I'm like, who am I gonna ask next? Ah, yeah. Yeah. Same for me in a way, because I was in real estate and for so many years in the rejection, I don't, I don't fear rejection when I'm asking, Hey, do you wanna be on my podcast? It's not like I'm trying to sell you something.

Right. Um. And so it's, it's not no issue at all. And I love, I love that. So, , that's awesome. Yeah, you've had some amazing gals looking through. Well then you're like, who's next? Right? Like the sky's limit and now I have so many different ideas popping in my head, but I might even make a series of something.

So we'll see what happens. Yeah, for sure. I love that. Um. So as far as the merchandise that you saw, tell us a little bit about that and what inspired that. Um, Kathy Hiller listening to Alice and Jay Prince on her podcast, and then she sells merchandise online. And I was like, I think I can do that. I can learn that.

So, and it was like, pick an item and I was like, oh my gosh, I already have too much stuff in my house. I'm not buying an item to sell outta my house. So then I decided to start creating, the product. Nice. Yeah. I did it too for a little while, but yeah, which in hindsight I'm like, maybe just having the product would've been easier 'cause now you gotta create the designs.

I loved all that. It just, I, it just, I am not the most patient person. I'm not, I'm not patient. And, um, yeah, I had sold a little bit, but I, it was, it was more fun and. I made those hats. Some of the hats I wear all the time. Yeah, yeah. People love my hats. They're always like, oh, I love your hat. And, , yeah.

So that's cool. , What are some of the sayings on the merchandise? Oh, yes. I have this one that says, select your thoughts. She's picking oranges. Mm. I have be seen and take up space. Um, let's see. Uh, create your own vibe and that's about with crystals, so that one's fun. Um, we have a vibrant vibe vixen that I did with a collab for someone.

Um, plant the Seed. I'm also working on, human design shirts that I'll be launching soon. I have a manifester shirts. Ooh, that's smart. During your frequency, I think I, I honestly get inspiration from talking to others and listening to others. Wow. Then I'm just like, oh, there's an idea. So that's how that comes about.

Um, what about custom shirts? Like I could be like, I want a generator shirt, but it, I want it, you know, to be black ink and, you know, white background. Well, good. That's what I created already, so maybe you'll love that one. Okay, cool. Yeah, no, I, I love it. You know, things that say shine, uh, cha uh, shine your light or change your destiny.

Chase the things that are chasing you. Mm. So good. So good. Yeah. Um, we are all magnets and we are always attracting into our lives, right? Yeah. Yeah. I think sometimes we definitely need those little boosts 'cause I know I do. Yes. That's what the merchandise does, right? It lifts you up. It gives you like an affirmation.

Yeah. Beautiful. Okay. , So back when you were 17, you took actions and that's very brave. I was also somewhat brave., I was brave most of my life, but, um, overcoming a lot of things. But,. That's so powerful that you, um, were so inspiring at such a young age and changed your whole life.

And how did you know you were worthy when you were young? Like where did you learn that? That's a good question. I don't know. I feel like I had good friends, even though, you know, friends change, right. Um, for a long time I think, I really think that knowing that my parents loved me and my grandparents were around.

Um, why did you leave? Because there was substance abuse. Just asking. Uh, there was heavy substance abuse. Okay. So it wasn't toxic to be in my house. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So where did you go though? You're 17. What do you do? Where do you I left, well, I left west someone and we rented a house and then I enrolled in a school and I went to school part-time and, and worked a part-time job as well.

Wow. We paid for our apartment. Yeah. It kind of worked out. My mom's friend lived in the, in the apartments. Mm. So she can kind of help us get there, but you know, she had her own issues. Yeah. But you moved your way and you found, you met your husband and you got married and had three children and created a beautiful life.

I mean, it is all like a part of my past, but part of your upbringing. I mean, my dad passed away being an alcoholic. Um, I've seen all kinds of drugs being used. And drinking. And I just think there's other, there's other things. You knew, there were other things. Were you in sports or anything in high school or did you Not in high school.

High school. I ended up at three different high schools, but I think that was, so a year and a half or two years at one school then, then another school, then I moved. Mm-hmm. And it was kind of a hard time in life 'cause all your friends are changing in junior high, high school and so it wasn't easy.

Some of it was pretty depressing. Yeah, I'm sure I remember those days too. Um, but you got through it and you I did. You got through it. And that's very brave. 'cause there's women grown, adult women that you know, are in situations and homes and relationships that aren't good and they don't know what to do and they're, you know, feeling stuck and feeling insecure and doubting themselves and, you know, what would you tell somebody like that?

I mean, that first year I left, even though I had someone I was living with. It was really hard because I left my family, I left my brother. My brother was 12. Oh, my grandparents started touring the country, so they weren't in Alaska anymore, but that was, and my best friend was up there. So, and then you start meeting new friends and then they started doing drugs you didn't wanna do.

So, you know, that was really hard. But I think I just kind of power through it. Yeah. And you know, and let the heart come. And I feel those emotions. Yeah, but you did smile a little bit when we talked about you moving out and you like starting that light. Like you have some, um, pride probably from it, right?

And like yeah, gratitude. I mean, I guess 17 is pretty early. My son is 16. Do I want moving out next year? Not really. Right. There's, but we don't give her kids credit enough how smart and capable they are of things. That's right. That's right. But it's, and I wanna want him to do those same kind of struggles and stuff, but you know, right.

It's not that I wasn't supported because I moved, everybody came to my graduation. Things like that happened. But did you, I guess I was just Miss Independent. Yeah, for sure. When's your birthday? I'm May 3rd. Is that a Taurus? Yeah. Oh, okay. I'm a Taurus rising. Were you believing in God back then as Uh, I don't think so.

I don't know. Um, I probably believe more into energy and source. Yeah, I did grow up. I didn't, I went to a few different churches, some with friends, some with my grandma and that kind of stuff. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Just interesting and inspiring and Yeah. Yeah. It wasn't forced, it wasn't something I had to do, you know?

Yeah. You got, yeah, that's cool. Um, but you didn't really believe in it. You think when you were young? I don't think so. Not not in organized religion so much. Right, right. Well, and, and then I'll, even when I was younger, a lot of my friends, they just go down the wrong path and have babies early and just, you know, yes.

Things that you're just like, there's something better for you. So I think that's what we really need to listen to. Yeah. You don't have to, I don't have to follow my, my upbringings lead. I'm not that. You knew that you weren't your surroundings at a young age. That's beautiful. You got out of it. I think Yeah, go ahead

go ahead. Oh, no. I was gonna ask where you met your husband. Uh, we met in Portland, Oregon at a dance club when he was up here from Utah, from school. He grew up here, but that he was just going to school in Utah. Okay. Yeah. Oh, he saw me a year before and tried to talk to me, but I was busy, I guess, and I didn't have time for him.

Yeah, that's, and then he saw me a year later. Nice. Been together. How long? Um, 25 years almost. Congratulations. Yeah. Yeah. So that's fun. And how old are the boys? Uh, 10, 14, and 16. Wow. Yeah. All plays, yeah. All doing football or first, uh, first high school game tonight and two more games tomorrow. Oh, wow. Yeah. I love it.

It's so fun. That's so cool. My son played hockey. Yeah, it is fun. Yeah. And you feel like, and I, and I think as a mom trying to do all these things that I'm doing, I wanna be pulled in 25 directions. But really I was like, wait, I don't need to do this. My son's in the kitchen, I'm gonna go hang out with him.

I just gotta find those little pockets of time. So I feel like we're connected. 'cause sometimes you think it has to be a bigger connection, like an activity. Yeah. And honestly the older, they get like 30 minute drive in a car or a 30 minute, you know, 30 minute lunch or something, and it's, it's plenty, you know.

That's what I did when I took them driving, practicing. I was like, we're going out to lunch. Nice. Yeah. Where have time? Where'd you guys go? Uh, there's a lence uh, breakfast bakery here. It's really delicious. Oh, nice. Yeah. Awesome. And so what's next for, what's that whisper? Um, we're just gonna kind of go as we are right now, and then I think that I'll work on some more decluttering stuff that I'm doing later, but I think I'll probably launch that in the new year and kind of add all that stuff.

Mm. And just keep interviewing folks that wanna be on the podcast. Yeah. And create, keep creating product. And what kind of guests are you looking for for the Pro podcast? Um, honestly, I just, um, people that have listened to their whispers and I think that can be words of encouragement. And I also, I have, like I was saying earlier, a little bit of an idea of there's people around town I can interview that could be part, and I just wanna kind of add that to my list too.

But I think I need to break this down so I know what I'm gonna do. Everything. Yeah. Yeah. That's amazing. I have one day a week to record things, so that's why. Yeah. But, um, so I'm curious on the, the guests that you've interviewed, what are some of the whispers that they share?

Um, one is just like last one that'll be, oh, that just came out today, Amy. She just, her whisper was to buy a house in another town out on the coast. Hmm. Yeah. And then one, I think with Alison would be a whisperer to start selling things online. And she said the first day she did it great, she sold something, she tried again, nothing.

And then she said she made God her business partner. And that I told, I just showed you, it's possible. How dare you quit on me. Oh, wow. Yeah. So then that's why she has her business and then she's selling things and teaching others how to do it. Wow. That's so cool. I love that. Yeah. That's so amazing. Um,

what do your children think of your podcast? Mom? Don't play that.

I was like, does it sound weird with my voice on there? They're like, yeah. I think maybe they'll see more of it later. Yeah. Yeah. It's, well boys and just trying different things. Yeah. Boys are different. Um, oh, a hundred percent. Yeah. It's amazing though. Three boys. That's incredible. Like you just, that's beautiful.

So, um, tell us what you want people to. You want to leave with people? Is there anything you wanna share before we wrap this up and find out where they can find you and, oh yeah. Well everything that I do is, what's that Whisper, so what's that whisper? I'm not on uh, Spotify yet 'cause I haven't figured that out.

But I'm on Apple and a whole bunch of other platforms. Um, my Instagram's that, my Facebook's that my shop's that, um, I just think that we all really do have these whispers and we need to take time to listen to them 'cause they really are speaking to you. And I think the. We could all have deep down whispers that we haven't listened to for years.

I'm like, Heather, you should go do some yoga. Nah, I don't have time. You know? And I think there's gonna be growth just coming out of that. Yeah. Right. Or maybe you should turn left and then you run into a friend or go to the store. This, I have ran into so many people lately. From my timing, I was in the mall, and if I would've went down the right hand side, I wouldn't have ran into her.

But I went down the left 'cause it was less crowded and I was so happy I saw her. She's in her eighties and we used to work together and I had us take a picture. Aw, because I wanna remember that. I know her. So, and I've been doing a lot of little selfies with people, and then I saw an old coworker again, so right by my doctor's office.

And I, I just like those little whispers and nudges that there really is the synchronicities and those things that are guiding us to where we need to go next. Yeah. Or to listen to next. And yes, doesn't have to be big. Right, right. So interesting because there's a, a guy on Instagram, he is quite famous.

Peter, I forgot his name, his last name, but I was watching one of his reels once and he is like, you might just need to clean out a drawer or a closet. And I'm like, he's basically saying, because that's how we clear space and when you do that, it's creating space for new, right. So I love. Like today, I finally, I was carrying around in my car some clothing that like was, you know, I just kinda, I don't wear or it's really old or it's not flattering or whatever.

, And some things I'll just share, like I might have paid a lot of money for, but it's like, so what? And I don't have these limiting things. Thoughts anymore. But anyway, so I finally, we have goodwill everywhere here in Florida, like, so I guess everybody's minimal and um, there's this goodwill almost on every corner.

So I finally donated that and I'm like, oh, I wonder what's gonna show up in my life because I finally let go of something. Right? It's like so powerful when we do that. So I love that you, um, are into decluttering. And I also love that you mentioned journaling. I just, let's . Repeat that, that when you have things in your mind, even if it's just everything and anything that's in there that's clutter and to just writing it down is the most powerful act to feel.

Better period. It's literally therapy. Just writing down your thoughts, right? Yeah. Well, yeah, and maybe just start small with decluttering. Just do that one drawer in the kitchen or the bathroom drawer you use every single day. Because it, I mean, I do think people become very overwhelmed, like you don't know where to start.

Yeah. That's kind of what I wanna start teaching people a little bit, but Yeah. Yeah, because I've got to do that for a few friends and help them declutter. And I'm doing that with my mother-in-law in her garage. Ooh. It takes time. So, yeah, and if you that you're good at it. That's fun. Powerful. Um.

Valuable thing to offer people, right? Because they are alone and overwhelmed and it is, it's nice to have support for that. So that's gonna be a potentially a business for you. We'll see. I'm gonna just see what I wanna do. 'cause I don't know if I wanna go everywhere or if I, who, what clients I want, but maybe I could just teach people online.

Even just doing little things and working that kind of into the whisper things. So we're just gonna test some things out because since I only have one day to do stuff, I think we're just gonna take our time and figure it out. Yeah. You love Yeah. You love your regular job, you love Oh my, yeah. I'm in retail, so that's, I think it's a lot of fun and I learn a lot of things from it, but, , I'm very grateful for my job.

That's so cool. Yeah. And it's five minutes from the house. Oh yeah. I think you told me that when we talked before. Yeah. Yeah. I mean that's so many benefits with a family, right? Yes, yes. Very cool. Very beautiful. I love your podcast and what you're doing in the world. You are a light, so keep shining and thank you for being here.

And everyone will pick the links for what that was for in the show notes, and people can go and follow along and maybe I can help you. , Put it on Spotify. Oh yes, I, you know what, this is a calendar. This tomorrow might be a planning day to figure it all out. What I, what steps I need to do next. Okay.

Yeah. And I would say with organizing, doing one drawer at a time, like I write that list and I'm just like, oh, now I could put this on Spotify. Got that done. Even if that's only one thing I did for the day. So that's what I try to do in my business as well. Yes. Um, yeah, things that move the needle. Exactly.

Amazing. Well, thank you Heather for being here. Thanks so much. You're so welcome. My pleasure. Yeah.
